Wool House is an exciting development, sensitively refurbishing a grade II listed Victorian warehouse into living accommodation for both key workers and students.

Located on the fringe of the City of London, it will consist of accommodation over six floors, and will also provide retails units including a supermarket, café and launderette.

Wool House will be a landmark redevelopment within an increasingly vibrant local community. The heritage and conservation of the existing building are at the forefront of the development, with the proposed plans retaining the existing structure and features.

The conversion of Woolhouse will utilise a modular partition system to preserve the building's heritage. This system will form all new internal partitions and is fitted without any damage to the existing building's fabric. The installation is also completely reversible allowing future removal. The partitions are prefabricated in the UK and arrive on site pre-finished and ready for installation.

The series of frames show how rapidly the system can be put up and thus taken down. Click the picture to view it.
